Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use cotwodesigns.com or buy from us. The site is run by CoTwo Designs Ltd, Christchurch, New Zealand (“we”, “us”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our products
Every board is handmade from natural timber and is one of a kind. Grain, colour and figure vary from board to board and are not faults. We photograph each board as it is, so the board shown is the board you’ll receive. Some images on our site, labelled as styled illustrations, are there to show how a board might look in a kitchen and are not photographs of the exact item.
Prices and payment
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Payment is taken in full when you place your order. We try hard to make sure prices and details are correct. If we make an obvious error, we’ll contact you before dispatching and you can choose to continue or cancel for a full refund.
Orders
Your order is confirmed when you receive our order confirmation email. Because each board is one of a kind, if two orders are placed for the same board at the same moment, the first completed order will be fulfilled and any other will be refunded in full.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Shipping is covered in our Shipping policy, and returns and refunds in our Returns & Refunds policy. Both form part of these terms.
Your rights under New Zealand law
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where those Acts apply, they override anything in these terms that conflicts with them.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our products or website. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including photographs, text, our logo, board designs and the presentation of The Gaelic Collection, belongs to CoTwo Designs Ltd. Please don’t copy or reuse it without our permission.
Privacy
We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy policy and in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our site when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any disputes will be dealt with by the New Zealand courts or the Disputes Tribunal.
